Specialized in the manufacture of SMI and single-sided and double-sided PCBs, without metallised holes, SOCIMET was created in 1980 by Georges MARTIN.
This activity, which requires flexibility and productivity, is becoming more demanding and competitive each day. In this context, SOCIMET has been very early in a policy of total quality, grow significantly with the increased confidence of many companies in various fields such as automotive, lighting, home appliances, electrical and office equipment.

Obtaining Certification AFNOR ISO 9001.

Yves MARTIN takes the head of the company and succeeds his father.

Obtaining ISO 9001 Version 2000 and TS 16949.

Investment of a circuit tester to bed of nails.

Obtaining the ISO 9001 Version 2008 certification.

Investment digital control multi heads, mobile probe tester and HAL.

2018

Gilles BRUN acquires SOCIMET.

Objective, preserve jobs and know-how in France. The company employs 11 people over an area of 5000 m² including 1,500 m² covered and achieves a turnover of € 1 million with a mainly French clientele in the fields of professional electronic equipment, lighting, signage, automotive and aeronautics.
